THE MONASTIC LIFE

Monastic Whole Wheat
In an age when Monks lived on a diet of bread, cheese, and beer, whole
wheat bread was king. An unmistakable taste, this bread is made with Trinity Abbey honey or dark molasses, a 1 to 3 ratio of all purpose to whole wheat flour and a large amount of yeast. Great by itself, with sweet clove honey on top or with a good strong stout. One slice is a whole meal.
